- Drive automobile, van, or light truck
- Make decisions
- Obtain information from individuals
- Prepare reports for management
- Take messages
- Use conflict resolution techniques
- Use oral or written communication techniques
- Use two-way radio or mobile phone
- Work as a team member
- Conduct field research or investigative studies
- Conduct surveillance to obtain information for law enforcement
- Use surveillance techniques
- Direct human or vehicle traffic
- Distribute traffic control or caution signs or markers
- Follow law enforcement methods or procedures
- Issue citation or warning for violation of laws
- Observe vehicular or pedestrian traffic
- Explain government rules or policies
- Follow confidentiality procedures
