Tri City Healthcare District is Hiring a BUILDING PROJECT COORDINATOR Near Oceanside, CA

Position Summary:

The Building Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring projects are compliant with all regulatory and Tri-City Medical Center requirements. This position is responsible for resolving field construction issues, managing scopes of work, prioritizing work and project schedules.

Major Position Responsibilities:

The position characteristics reflect the most important duties, responsibilities and competencies considered necessary to perform the essential functions of the job in a fully competent manner.   • Maintains a safe, clean working environment, including unit based safety and infection control requirements.
  • Responsible for scheduling and attending project execution meetings.
  • Participate in project planning meetings and conduct building research. Provide pertinent information to architects, inspectors and contractors.
  • Conduct site surveys with contractor(s) and TCMC stakeholders to evaluate progress and address any potential delays.
  • Plan any facility utility shutdowns and coordinate with affected department(s).
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of four (4) to five (5) years’ experience in hospital project and operations management, required. 
  • Familiarity with infection control procedures in hospital construction, required.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.

Licenses:

  • Valid California Driver’s License, required.

Each new hire candidate who is offered employment must pass a physical evaluation, urine drug screen and pre-employment background checks before starting work.

*Salary/Hourly Wage range based on experience.
