Tri-Cities Residential Services is Hiring a HR Training Assistant Near Kennewick, WA

If so, this may be the job you’re looking for!

What can you expect? Mundane tasks such as filing and data input as well as continually learning the ever changing world of HR. You may be involved in screening applicants, calling references, and preparing for new hires. You may be asked to assist, facilitate, lead and track trainings. The job duties are in flux as we continue to develop our HR/Training team so being a self-starter and going with the flow will serve you well in this position.

Our ideal candidate would have the following skills/talents/abilities: Proficient in common office software and standard office equipment. Good oral and written communication abilities and interpersonal skills. Effective management and organizational skills and basic understanding of HR principles. Ability to define problems and effect solutions, understand and apply basic mathematical concepts and read and interpret a variety of professional documents and correspondence. Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude and perform effectively during periods of high stress in a sometimes high-pressure environment with competing demands.

Requirements: Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED, valid WA State Driver's License, vehicle insurance that meets agency safety and insurance standards and satisfactorily pass a DSHS Criminal Background Check.

Preferable: One year of previous experience in an Office setting and working with vulnerable populations in Human Services or a related field. Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point, and database. Ability to apply different teaching techniques to adult learners.

Starting wage $18.91/hr. Sign on bonus!

Our Minimum qualifications are;

- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

- Current Driver's License

- Ability to pass a DSHS Background Check

- Ability to pass a random drug screening

- You must be able to provide your own vehicle that meets safety requirements

Benefits:

TCRS pays 80% of the medical, dental and vision insurance premiums for eligible employees. Employees are responsible for the total premium for any dependents.

Retirement Plan and 401(k). Eligible after 1 year of employment. TCRS provides a matching contribution of up to 3% of actual wages. Additional contributions may be made for Full-time employees who are participating in the retirement plan and have completed 3 years of continuous FT employment. The additional contribution is based on the employee’s scheduled hours and the following criteria: 1%, additional after 3 years of continuous Full-time employment. 3%, additional after 5 years of continuous Full-time employment. 5%, additional after 7 years of continuous Full-time employment. 7%, additional after 9 years of continuous Full-time employment.
