Tri-Area Community Health is seeking a full time Medical Records/Referral Clerk. This position is primarily responsible for releasing medical information to persons or agencies according to medical record request regulations, appropriately handling incoming medical correspondence, and requesting medical correspondence generated from specialist referrals. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of experience in a medical office or hospital environment is preferred Previous experience in handling patient health information and/or medical records is strongly preferred. Must be detail oriented, have excellent organization and time management skills. Must have good communication skills and be familiar with using technology. This is a corporate position located in the Ferrum clinic. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Competitive pay and benefits package.

Pay is based on education and experience.
