Trexis Insurance is Hiring an Actuarial Analyst Near Franklin, TN

Trexis Insurance / Trexis One Insurance based in Franklin, Tennessee is one of the leading private passenger nonstandard to mid-market auto carriers. We are A rated by A.M. Best and currently have an Actuarial Analyst opportunity available in our corporate office. This position is accountable for providing support to the Actuarial Department in the determination of rates for new products and existing business. This position must also assist in monitoring the loss experience, conduct studies to analyze profitability and competitiveness, and produce internal and external data reports as needed.

Duties:

  • Assist Actuarial Department with rate indication development and various modeling projects.
  • Prepare statistical exhibits, rates and relativities for rate filings in all companies in all states.
  • Assist with gathering data and accurately reporting to statistical reporting agencies.
  • Monitor reporting requirements and ensure company reporting is up to date.
  • Become a subject matter expert on data warehouse, extracting data to support Actuarial and Product Management teams quickly and accurately.
  • Support Actuarial team in data warehouse accuracy validation.
  • Support Product Management and Actuarial departments, working collaboratively within the team.
  • Study and progress through the actuarial examination process.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • BA or BS degree Required in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related field provided there is a strong concentration in Mathematics.
  • Completion of 1 actuarial exams Required (more is preferred)
  • Prior experience is not required.
