We are looking for a Receiving Supervisor to be responsible for the coordination, direction, and collaboration of the day-to-day raw material transfer process and the overall duties of the receiving team. This role is key member of our Distribution and Transportation team.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
  • Develop, promote and maintain a safe workplace. Maintain a high level of safety awareness, ensuring that all employees are aware that safety is the company’s number one priority.
  • Organize and manage day-to-day operation of plant support personnel to ensure accurate and efficient raw material ordering from the warehouse back to the plant and the accurate and efficient receiving of POs in JD Edwards and the delivery of packages by the receiving team.
  • Ability to create an inclusive workplace where employees can thrive and contribute effectively.
  • Manage daily staffing of full-time employees and collaborate with the Finished Goods Supervisor and other team members regarding staffing plans.
  • Monitor and ensure company compliance with all policies and procedures including Safety, Quality and Human Resources.
  • Maintain effective employee relations through employee coaching and development.
  • Incorporate problem resolution and performance modification follow-ups to resolve employee matters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess individual performance of team members.
  • Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Manage KPIs, payroll accuracy outstanding projects and performance appraisals.

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for leaders with 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a production or distribution environment. If you have previous experience with managing a diverse workforce and knowledge of computer systems like Microsoft Office, we want to hear from you.
