TREW LLC is Hiring a Product Specialist - MDR and Electronics Near Cincinnati, OH

Our team is seeking a motor-driven live roller conveyor and electronics Product Specialist that can work well with a team, believes in our corporate values, and can make a positive impact on the business.
We are looking for a team member that can support our product management team responsible for development and launch new conveyor products for our integrators and solutions businesses. That means working closely with a cross-functional team, learning how the business operates, what the role of product management means, trying some new things, using what you know, working hard to get results, having some fun, helping create results and owning the outcomes.

You'll be...
  • Leveraging what you know and learning new things to build product management skills and personal toolkit
  • Supporting the product management team’s deliverables for all phase of product development – requirements through launch
  • Supporting cross-functional development value stream functions to help with product related insights that enable moving quickly to high value results – such as vendor research, cost comparisons, market and technology canvasing, etc.
  • Maintain product performance reporting such as volumes, channel, profitable, variability, etc.
  • Support collection and evaluation of competitive and technology trends
  • Support marketing team in the creation of marketing and sales collateral
Our approach to the role requires a combination of technical and business skills, and typically a great fit for an engineer or technical resource looking to gain experience with a business role. For a candidate to be successful in this role they will need self-motived, curious and ability to work with cross functional teams and have a business or marketing aptitude with technical domain proficiency. This role builds the understanding of how the product lifecycle and development value stream works to delivery meaningful results by providing supporting work products for the entire lifecycle of product in the portfolio. They will need to be a team player, a good communicator with technical and non-technical people, self-started, organized, and a problem solver that is flexible enough to jump in and help make things happen.
Skills Needed
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of domain experience or relevant technical experience; or MHE product development, technical service, or project engineering experience with a desire to work on the business side
  • Material Handing or Industrial Automation, or technical business to business segment experience preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Have a positive attitude, be a team player, and willing to help others.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and have good organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities to delivery results for multiple teams
  • Must be motivated, results oriented, able to take direction for multiple product managers
