Fall 2024 Project Manager Co-Op
As a Project Manager Intern/Co-Op you will gain experience with several aspects of the project planning, execution process and closing. You will work closely with and assist Project Manager(s) and the leadership team to get hands-on experience with our Project Lifecycle.
Duties & Responsibilities
Update project artifacts such as schedules, punch lists, change management documents, etc.
Attend project meetings such as weekly project status meetings, forecast meetings, etc.
Participate in on-site visits for turnover meetings, status check, testing, etc.
Update processes and work instructions.
Work directly with and assist local and remote Project Managers.
Required Skills & Abilities
Microsoft Office (365) experience.
Flexibility to travel by air around the country and Canada.
Problem Solving, Logic application and Organizational skills.
Strong people skills with the ability to work effectively with other organizations and individuals at all levels.
The ability to learn quickly and a desire to broaden your skills and experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Education & Experience
Pursuing a degree in engineering, business management, construction management, leadership or similar.
Work Environment
This is primarily a desk-based role, requiring extended periods of sitting and computer use. While the role is mainly desk-based, mobility within the office, manufacturing facility, customer – and construction sites may be required for meetings and interactions with colleagues. Office environment with face-to-face and virtual team interaction.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times. Ability to traverse office, manufacturing facility and customer sites. Possesses the agility to navigate stairs with ease and exhibits a high level of comfort with extensive walking. Proficient in ambidextrous tasks, demonstrating the capability to effectively utilize both hands for carrying and handling items.
