Role Overview:

The Armed Security Officer's primary role is to act as a visible deterrent to potential criminal activities. By maintaining a professional appearance in a correctly worn uniform and utilizing appropriate equipment, the officer reinforces the standards and authority of our security team.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to interact professionally across all levels of personnel and with the public.
• Compliance with licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, potentially required prior to employment.
• Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screening in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrated excellence in customer service and communication.
• Proficiency in operating advanced wireless technology specific to client sites.
• Ability to manage crisis situations at the client site calmly and efficiently.
• Comfort in handling high footfall of the public, which may vary based on assignment.
• Commitment to providing top-tier security services in the protection of both people and property. This includes maintaining proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices, and weapons.
• Engage in industry-specific security/safety training programs.

Physical & Skill Requirements:

• Ability to work in diverse environments.
•  Willingness to work on weekends.
• Capacity to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds.
• Endurance to stand or walk for extended periods while equipped with duty gear.

Mandatory Certifications & Skills for Armed Candidates:

• Valid BSIS Guard Card.
• BSIS Exposed Firearms Permit.
• Chemical Weapons Certification.
• Reliable transportation
• Exceptional customer service aptitude.
• Superior written and oral communication capabilities.
