Security Supervisor Special Events

Work Locations: Hollywood, Koreatown, Echo Park
Work Times: Primarily Evenings between 5:00 pm and 2:00 am, subject to change on the type/location of event supervised.

Job Summary:

We are searching for a committed and proactive Security Supervisor who will handle all required duties with the highest level of professionalism. Security Supervisors are in charge of security and are expected to be organized, have a keen eye for detail, be trustworthy, and be able to manage others effectively.

Job Description:
Follow the directives of the Event Manager for each event assigned. Familiarity with the information and facilities located at each venue where they are posted.
Report matters of concern to the Operations Team / Event Manager and complete incident report forms if needed.

• Full Time, Part Time, and On-Call is available
• Available Weekends & Evenings (Required)
• Supervises Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site(s); acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, established rounds are completed, high quality reports are filed, and employee breaks are in compliance
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service
• As assigned, in accordance with applicable company policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws, carries out supervisory duties that can include some or all of the following: interviewing, orienting, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems, and make hiring and termination recommendations
• Security Supervisors will assist with the functions of physical and personal security, and safety measures for clients
• Other duties may include access control, list management, crowd control, emergency response, pat down and metal detecting search, and law, policy, and code enforcement
• Site placement includes, but is not limited to concerts, conventions, nightlife, retail, hospitality, or commercial properties 

Minimum Requirements:

• A GED or High School Diploma
• Valid Guard Card issued by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS)
• Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
• Have excellent English verbal and written skills
• Have a neat professional appearance
• Have access to reliable transportation and a track record of being ON-TIME to work
