Position: Architectural and Design Sales Representative

Mission:

Your mission as an Architectural and Design Sales Representative at Trendy Surfaces is to drive revenue growth, expand our market presence, and provide strategic insights. You will be the driving force behind our success by forging strong client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and staying ahead of market trends. You will service Architectural and Interior Design Firms, Custom Home Builders, Contractors with specifying Trendy Surfaces products for interior and exterior applications

Results :

• Achieve or exceed quarterly sales revenue targets.
• Expand our client base by onboarding new architectural and design firms.
• Provide valuable market insights and feedback for strategic decision-making.

• Sales and negotiation skills to close deals and drive revenue.
• In-depth knowledge of the architectural and design industry.
• Proactive, customer-focused, and adaptable.
• Strong communication, empathy, and integrity.
• A team player with a self-motivated, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset with a taste of design.
• Be highly motivated to meet or exceed the sales goals
• 2 years previous Architectural & Design sales experience
• Floor Coverings / Slabs, building material industry experience preferred.
• Solid analytical skills to define clients' needs and provide viable solution
• Ability to travel frequently in sales territory
• Minimum high school diploma required

Responsibilities:

• Focus on sales and revenue generation.
• Actively expand the client base through market research and prospecting.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure their satisfaction.
• Provide regular strategic feedback and data analysis.
• Monitor and report vital weekly metrics to track progress.
• Actively participate in the company's mission and goals.
• Work with interior designers, architects, builders, contractors to maintain existing relationships and establish new accounts
• Identify project activity at the design firm level early on in the design process
• Drive product specifications through A&D firms and manage until the order is secured
• Promote and sell our product portfolio to existing or new clientele
• Proven external and showroom based sales success, experience preferably in natural stone and tile industry, and membership and participation in industry associations/networking events.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
