Description:

• Prepare and maintain records of all inventory
• Ensure a high degree of accuracy of the location and counts of all inventory items
• Conduct/supervise cycle counts
• Investigate inventory shortages and discrepancies. Identify causes of issues and implement process improvements
• Ensure that inventory transactions for raw materials are accurate and timely
• Maintain records and prepare summary reports for evaluation
• Review and recommend changes to all customer-managed inventory programs
• Keep abreast of inventory program best practices
• Ensure orders are shipped on time to correct location with accurate paperwork
• Supervise the receiving and organization of incoming materials and supplies
• Manage the movement and accurate location of WIP and Finished Goods
• Schedule manpower according to customer requirements
• Interpret company policies to team members and enforce safety regulations
• Confer with Sales to coordinate shipments and expedites as needed
• Coordinate schedules and determine load procedures for international shipments
• Confer with managers of other departments to coordinate flow of materials/supplies in and between stocking locations
• Recommend and implement changes in working conditions and/or use of equipment to increase efficiency of the department

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum of 3 years' experience OR
• Technical schooling with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• 3-5 years' experience in Inventory Control
• AIPICS certification preferred
