Get paid to CLIMB! Field Staff are the heart of our organization. All Field Staff must first complete our comprehensive Practitioner training to become qualified to work as Field Staff. There are three levels of qualifications that will enable staff to work in various positions in the park. Positions can range from Harnessing guests all the way to Assisting guests who need help down from our high ropes courses. Regardless of your experience, the training will help prepare you for the responsibilities of your position.
Field Staff are the eyes and ears of the park. Their primary responsibility is to enhance the safety and well-being of all park guests as well as to provide assistance and guidance as needed. It is the duty of Field Staff to ensure each guest has an enjoyable and memorable experience. Field Staff must possess friendly disposition, multi-tasking skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Field Staff must be able to pick up new skills quickly and competently both in training and on the job while maintaining the highest quality of customer service. The Field Staff is also responsible for park grounds and course maintenance.
Primary Job Functions Include:
· Inspect, maintain, issue, and return guest equipment
· Harness guests, ensuring proper fit and function of equipment
· Brief guests on equipment uses and course maneuvering skills
· Inform guests of rules and regulations for the park
· Supervise and assist guests at practice station
· Monitor courses and guests
· Provide verbal and physical assistance to guests as needed
· Maneuver through all courses with efficiency
· Remove guests from the course as needed in accordance with company policies
Job Requirements:
· Staff will work toward being Qualified to ACCT standards for aerial ropes courses and zip lines. Position Levels achieved depend on hours of work in the field
· Must have a clear speaking voice
· Must have good interpersonal skills
Physical Demands:
· Physically demanding; Field Staff/Zip Line Staff are required to maneuver throughout the course in a timely and efficient manner while carrying specialized “rescue” equipment.
· Rope work and “rescue” techniques also require physical strength and knowledge provided through training.
· Must perform work in a timely, safe, and consistent fashion.
· Must maintain a high level of accuracy and a high level of accountability for this position.
· Must have the ability to read and give directions clearly.
· Must have the ability to answer questions related to the park.
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds alone.
· Must have friendly personality for guest interaction.
Schedule:
· Position requires some nights, weekends, and holidays a part of the normal workweek.
· Additions or changes in days/shifts may be necessary from time-to-time or during high volume times.

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
