About the Position: 

We are looking for a 3rd shift Safety & Loss Prevention Officers to join our team at Treetops Resort! The Treetops Resort Safety and Security team maintains 24-hour, 7 day a week coverage across all Resort properties to ensure all employees and guests are safe and secure. The specific candidate we are looking for will be available to work 12-hour shifts starting at 7:00 pm and ending at 7:00 am and must be confident in working independently once trained. 

Responsibilities: 

• Engage guests and employees with professionalism, courtesy and friendliness. 

• Respond and manage emergent and non-emergent situations on Treetops property. 

• Write reports documenting any incidents or accidents. 

• Provide first aid to a guest or employee in case of injury, until EMS arrives. 

• Conduct vehicle and foot patrols to ensure safety and security for all guests. 

• Accurately complete daily logs, incident reports and tracking documents. 

• Check and maintain pool chemicals for safe operations. 

• Assist with routine safety checks re: fire extinguishers, emergency lights, etc. 

• More duties as required.

Qualifications

Requirements: 

• Valid driver's license to allow for driving of company vehicle. 
• Michigan MFR license. 
• Current CPR/First Aid certification. 
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older. 
• Able to work outside in various weather conditions. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
