Treehouse Learning and Development LLC is Hiring a Summer Teaching Position (Instructional Specialist) Near Chicago, IL

Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging educational programs for students. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, curriculum development, and adult education. Duties: - Develop and deliver effective and engaging educational programs for students - Utilize various teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience - Create instructional materials, including SCORM-compliant e-learning modules, using tools such as Adobe Captivate - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum - Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their learning journey - Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard to manage course content and assignments - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in education and training development Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred) - Proven experience in curriculum development and instructional design - Strong knowledge of adult education principles and practices - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to effectively engage and motivate students of diverse backgrounds - Proficiency in using educational technology tools, including SCORM, Blackboard, Adobe Captivate, etc. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously We offer competitive compensation packages and opportunities for professional growth.
