Position: Budtender

Reports to: Assistant Manager

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, this position will be responsible for assisting customers, recommending products, and ensuring a positive and informative experience for all patrons. You must be passionate about the cannabis industry, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Provide detailed information about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
• Answer customer inquiries and address concerns with professionalism and expertise.
• Create a positive and comfortable atmosphere for patrons.

Product Knowledge:

• Stay informed about the latest cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
• Educate customers on the effects, benefits, and usage of different cannabis products.
• Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions based on their preferences and needs.

Sales and Transactions:

• Accurately and efficiently process sales transactions using the dispensary's point-of-sale system.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance the customer's experience.
• Handle cash and maintain cash register accuracy.

Compliance:

• Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Verify customer age and identification in compliance with legal requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a cohesive work environment.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to share product knowledge and customer feedback.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a cannabis dispensary environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
