We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our team. As a Revenue Cycle Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our healthcare organization. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure accurate and timely billing, coding, and reimbursement processes. Duties:
- Manage the revenue cycle process from start to finish, including coding, billing, claims submission, and payment posting
- Review and analyze medical records to ensure proper documentation and coding accuracy
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies and denials
- Stay updated on industry regulations and changes in coding guidelines
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to maximize revenue
- Train and educate staff on proper coding and billing procedures
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management or related field (preferred)
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification (preferred)
- Proven experience in revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting
- In-depth knowledge of medical coding systems (e.g., CPT, ICD-10)
- Familiarity with insurance billing processes and reimbursement methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
