About the role

The iconic and beautiful Stags’ Leap Winery in Napa, California is looking for talented and customer service-oriented individuals to join our tasting room and retail stores.

As a Seasonal Hospitality Sales Associate, you will have the opportunity to join a great team that is constantly driving sales and building relationships through our tasting room experience.

Wine experience is much appreciated but can be taught for those that are looking to start their career in the wine industry!

Responsibilities

• Set-up and host wine tastings and tours for guests
• Provide world class customer service to site visitors
• Assist in events, private dinners and various site activities
• Assist with restocking, inventory, wine packing and floor upkeep
• Register operations, retail sales and wine club promotions
• Follow site policies and procedures.
• Complete projects and other duties as directed by Retail Sales Manager.

About you

• You must be 21 years of age
• You have some experience in retail sales or a similar hospitality setting
• Exemplary customer service skills required
• You have strong presentation skills with the ability to relay knowledge of wines and wine production
• You are dynamic with a positive attitude
• You have a clean professional appearance, and you excel at teamwork and interactions
• Knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry, Napa and Bay Area restaurants
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (a case of wine)
• Wine industry and / or tasting room experience is highly desired but not required
• This position must work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), some holidays and evenings
