Job Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, utilizing proper lifting techniques
- Administer medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professional
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing client's living space
- Prepare nutritious meals and ensure dietary needs are met
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic healthcare practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and maintaining client confidentiality
- Experience working in nursing homes or home care settings is a plus
