trcgroup is Hiring a Trainee FLT Driver - Warehouse Operative Near Washington, WA

Experience: Warehouse experience is desirable. The great development program, coaching/mentoring, Including full Forklift/MHE Truck training program.
Pay:
  • Dayshift – £11.12ph
  • Backshift – £12.97ph
  • Overtime – £16.68ph 
  • Overtime on a Sunday – £22.24ph
Shifts:
  • Dayshift – Monday to Friday (Times range from 06:45 am – 15:33 pm)
  • Backshift – Monday to Friday (Time range from 16:20 pm – 01:08 am)
(Please note, shift times will vary depending on the site & what line you are working on. This will be discussed in induction)
Hours of work: 39 hours working on a rotating shift system. You must be able to work both shifts.

Duties:
  • Dispatching
  • Quality Inspection of parts and components
  • Reworking and light assembly of parts
  • Palletizing crate assembly
  • Booking items onto computerized stock control systems
  • Palletizing or decanting and loading of boxes and stillages
  • Operating Forklift Trucks (Full training provided)
Key Accountabilities specific to this role:
  • Achieve targets and job standards as set out by Team Leader/Supervisor
  • To use Warehouse Management Systems and other IT to process customer requirements
  • Understand current task processes and relevant SLAs applied to regular services
  • Assisting with stock-taking/remapping and other accuracy-related tasks.
  • Operating best practices to support 5S’ and contributing to improvement activities
  • Provide regular progress updates to the assigned Team Leader/Supervisor
  • Carry out tasks/functions as directed, following Standard Operating Procedures at all times
  • Maintain efficient and effective time management and planning processes
  • To ensure the companies Health and Safety policy is adhered to
Person Specification:
  • The role is open to all applicants of varying levels of experience as training and development will be provided.
  • Experience in operating a Forklift Truck (in-house or otherwise) is an advantage but not essential
  • Understand the importance of working as a team
  • Be professional and possess a polite and positive attitude
  • Strong organization skills and being able to work flexibly and to deadlines
  • Understand the importance of Health & Safety
