OverviewTRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country's most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence.
TRC is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to contribute to the implementation of state and regional initiatives related to clean energy workforce development. The Project Manager will be supporting a highly successful and highly visible statewide public benefit workforce development program, with a focus on career awareness and attracting new workers to the industry. The Project Manager will engage with students, guidance/career counselors, and job seekers, as well as training and educational organizations, clean energy businesses, and other workforce development stakeholders. Many of the engagements will focus on working with organizations and individuals from historically underserved communities. The Project Manager will work with TRC and client teams to contribute to the development and implementation of insightful, creative solutions and test market-based approaches to address workforce skills gaps and overcoming market barriers in areas such as high-performance buildings, alternative transportation, large scale renewables, and energy storage.
The position involves frequent travel (average of 20-40%, including some evenings and weekends) and regular participation at in-person events, at time with short notice. The position requires the ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with team members (internal and external) of varied backgrounds. The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with diverse types of individuals, especially young people. This position requires flexibility; strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; and excellent organizational skills.
This is a hybrid position in the New York Market; Albany preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
In accordance with local law, the following compensation range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition: $70,000-$85,000. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, and other compensable factors.
