Trawood Family Dental is Hiring a Registered Dental Assistant Near El Paso, TX
We are seeking an enthusiastic dental assistant with strong work ethics, excellent communication and patient care skills to join our amazing team! Our office environment is one where everyone is happy to help and we love connecting with our amazing patients. We are looking for someone that will fit right in with our team! Responsibilities for Dental Assistant
- Take and document patient dental history and updates, as well as overall health and medication history.
- Assist dentist chairside for a variety of restorative and surgical procedures.
- Prepare tables and trays for dentist with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Clean and sterilize instruments, and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
- Ensure appropriate supply of equipment and materials.
- Perform patient charting as instructed by the dentist.
- Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
- Communicate with patients about their dental conditions and care post procedure.
Qualifications for Dental Assistant
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
- Current CPR certification
- 1-2 years of experience as an RDA
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to follow outlined policies and guidelines
- Possess a professional and positive attitude
- Spanish speaking preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
