Travis Driving School is Hiring an Administrative Assistant and Digital Content Specialist Near Austin, TX

Pay Starting At: $15 per hour

Travis Driving School is currently seeking a friendly and professional Administrative Assistant/ Digital Content Specialist to join our team. As the first point of contact, you will welcome and assist our clients with a warm and professional demeanor. Additionally, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our driving courses to prospective clients. Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and assist clients as they enter the driving school; manage check-ins and schedule driving lessons.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
  • Manage and maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Educate prospective clients about our driving courses and benefits
  • Handle cash transactions, process payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Promote and sell driving courses to meet sales targets.
  • Coordinate with the driving instructors to ensure smooth operation of driving lessons and schedules.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to gauge customer satisfaction and seek referrals.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Contact affiliates for partnership
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook)
  • Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
  • Keep updated records of office expenses and costs
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing
  • Assistant manager and operational assistant to employees.

Skills

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or sales preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Google Calendar, Google Spreadsheet, Online Scheduling Softwares.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills

To be successful, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. You should be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner, while streamlining office operations. Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. Ultimately, a Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
