Certifications: BLS, ACLS (AHA),
License: MA RN license
Job Description: The RN - Progressive Care/Stepdown provides direct patient care effectively and efficiently which may include patients with varied and complex needs, responsible for evaluating medical information.
Unit Size: 20 beds
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Dress Code: Personal scrubs of any color
8hrs non-billable orientation
Holiday and OT Multipliers - 1.25%
Responsibilities
Experience: 2 years current PCU/Stepdown experience

Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to patients who require a level of monitoring and intervention between that provided in general medical-surgical units and intensive care units.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs, cardiac monitoring, neurological assessment, and respiratory status
- Administer medications according to physician orders, including IV medications, titration of vasopressors or inotropes, and pain management
- Traveler must be willing to float to any MS Unit as needed
Experience: 2 years current PCU/Stepdown experience
- Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
- TNCC Preferred
- Covid Vaccination proofs
- Skill Checklist
- 1 Supervisory Signed reference form
