Job Summary

The Manager of Core Services Team is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and Hybrid Cloud (Data Center) services, as well as the management of Enterprise Data Protection (Backups) and the execution and testing of defined disaster recovery procedures. The successful candidate will manage a team of technical experts and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure services that meet the needs of internal and external customers.

In addition, you must have a strong focus on automation and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the Core Services Team in the delivery of Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and Hybrid Cloud (Data Center) services.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Focus on resiliency, business continuity and availability
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable services.
• Oversee the management of Enterprise Data Protection (Backups), including the implementation of backup policies and procedures.
• Lead the execution and testing of defined disaster recovery procedures, ensuring that the organization is prepared for any potential disruptions.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Security, Network, and Database, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices in Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and Hybrid Cloud (Data Center) services.
• Manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and service level agreement (SLA) management.
• Manage the budget and resources of the Core Services Team, ensuring that resources are aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
• Mentor and develop team members to ensure their professional growth and success.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers, ensuring that customer needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the delivery of services, seeking feedback from customers and implementing changes as necessary.
• Implement automation solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to streamline processes and improve efficiency
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
