Job Summary

Responsible for providing POS Administrator/Engineer technical expertise to support all POS Store and Fuel Desk related requests. Work within POS Team, Operations and HQ to accomplish company objectives, goals and targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional Customer Support for POS Store and Fuel Desk related requests for both internal and external Customers.
• Actively seek to mentor new employees and provide training as directed by the Supervisor
• Work with Security Team to ensure PCI compliance of POS systems.
• Work with Windows Admin Team to deploy security patches to labs and production.
• Work with 3rd parties to troubleshoot high-level networking issues. Document solutions for POS Fuel Desk implementations (Visio Diagrams).
• Maintain company operational readiness by providing after hours/weekend support through on call tree
• Review networking, hardware and software requirements from Vendors and provide technical recommendations and guidance on implementations.
• Function as a liaison to Technical Support Team and 3rd party vendors to provide insight to solutions and implementation specifics.
• Participate in network design, documentation and delivery of POS Store and Fuel Desk projects.
• Responsible to understand all network data flow from all POS for integration projects.
• Identify POS / Network security risks and provide recommended solutions.
• Assist with analysis of networking infrastructure between 3rd parties and TA HQ.
• Responsible to review and provide recommendations of new implementations (Acquisitions and Construction Projects).
• Assist with POS related projects and work with Team on implementations.
• Ability to diagnose complex network and OS level issues.
• Ability to create Windows/Linux OS images for multi-platform hardware
• Ability to coordinate and drive technical projects through completion.
• Extremely organized with professional follow-up and tracking of assigned tasks
• Provide hardware and software support for POS equipment, PC devices and computer peripherals.
• Maintain knowledge of PCI compliancy on POS systems.
• To minimize financial and product loss by ensuring proper functionality of POS Store and Fuel systems by responding to defects reported by the sites.
• Review and submit expenses in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with accepted company practices and procedures.
• Work directly with POS Team from HQ and field operations to ensure the best internal and external customer experience possible.
• Be interactive with all groups involved with the POS Store and Fuel systems team.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills to achieve the team and company goals and targets.
• Become proficient with software tools necessary to support sites.
• Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities depending on business needs.
• Ability to learn new software and system processes quickly utilizing self-research or team collaboration.
