Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housemanto join our team. As a Houseman, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment for our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service will contribute to the overall satisfaction of our guests. You will do light maintenance and upkeep hotel grounds. He may also assist housekeepers as directed by management.
Duties:
- Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
- Ensure all areas of the hotel are kept clean and well-maintained, including hallways, lobbies, and common areas
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and bathrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Respond to guest requests in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a positive guest experience
Experience:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills
Skills:
- Welding experience is a plus
- Basic electrical knowledge is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries and requests professionally
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues is an advantage
- Ability to fabricate simple items as needed
- Familiarity with logic controllers is desirable for maintaining automated systems
- Experience in facilities maintenance is beneficial for addressing minor repairs or maintenance tasks
- Supervising skills for overseeing other housekeeping staff members if required
- Ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel premises
- Leadership qualities for guiding and motivating team members
