Trapper's Sushi Covington is Hiring a Bartender Near Covington, WA

Trapper's Sushi is looking to grow our team by adding a new Bartender to our team! As one of the Pacific Northwest's most desired dining establishments, our mission is to learn our customers names, as well as provide the best service and food possible, leaving our customers with a craving to come back for more!

Bartenders prepare drink orders for Trapper's Sushi guests, while occasionally taking a section of tables. The goal is to provide customers with a memorable experience by getting to know our customers by name, in adherence to our Mission Statement.

You will work in close collaboration with colleagues and follow established health and safety standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare beverage orders for guests and Food Servers in a timely fashion
  • Set up bar and bar area tables with special attention to sanitation and order
  • Attend to customer requests, offer food / beverages, answer questions and / or make recommendations for other products
  • Collaborate with other bartenders, restaurant servers and / or kitchen staff
  • Respond to customer complaints or problems with a positive attitude
  • Deliver checks, accept, and process payments
  • Demonstrate and uphold all TRAPCHK core values

Experience and Qualifications

  • Proven bartending experience
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction
  • Responsible and trustworthy, with cash handling experience
  • Excellent people skills
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety
  • High school diploma preferred; food safety training will be a plus
  • Washington State Food Worker Card and MAST Alcohol Server Permit are required (before first day of work)

Physical Demands

  • The employee must regularly lift items up 10 pounds, frequently up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
