The Mechanical Associate I will be responsible for performing general vehicle inspections and entry level repairs for the mechanical reconditioning process per shop Standards. These duties include, but are not limited to, diagnostics, remove and replace transmission, clean transmission and remove and replace transmission oil and filter.
Must be able to perform multiple duties in a fast-paced environment, provide outstanding customer service, and follow workplace cleanliness and organization standards.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair vehicles
Experience with removal and installation of transmissions
To operate diagnostic equipment (i.e scanners) to diagnose problems
Work as part of a team to solve technical problems quickly and effectively
To dismantle and clean transmissions to be rebuilt.
To inspect and replace the TCM, solenoids, sensor, or any other electronics component related to the transmission
To test drive vehicle after installers, finish a job or when problems occur
Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness and organization
