Job Responsibilities:

As a Transport Refrigeration Services Technician, your duties include:

• Conducting minor and major repairs on refrigeration units, demonstrating proficiency in diagnosing unit issues, such as utilizing OEM software for microprocessor functions and interpreting wiring diagrams.
• Performing electrical diagnostics using a multimeter and programming microprocessors.
• Utilizing reclaiming machines to recover and recycle refrigerant properly.
• Excelling in soldering various joints and tubes and conducting general repairs on trucks, including coolant, fuel, electrical, and brake systems.
• Performing cab air conditioning maintenance and repairs, including proper use of air conditioning recovery machines. Conducting preventative maintenance services on trailers, refrigeration units, and APU units.
• Performing FHWA inspections, brake replacements, and repairs on trailer ABS brake systems.
• Handling tire repairs and replacements on trucks and trailers, as well as conducting body, structural, rear door, and electrical repairs on trailers.
• Performing interior and exterior trailer washes and APU repairs, meeting standard repair times for all tasks.
• Providing road service work and servicing company vehicles, while maintaining a clean shop and upholding confidentiality standards.
• Adhering to Transport and Customer standards and policies and fulfilling any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements & Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, candidates must:

• Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Have completed a high school education or equivalent.
• Possess a clean and valid driver’s license and own a toolbox with required tools.

• $2.00/hour shift differential pay for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
• Additional pay per hour for ASE certifications in Brakes, Suspension, and PM’s.
