Job Summary:As the Quality Director, you'll be at the forefront of our quality assurance efforts, overseeing processes and initiatives to guarantee our customers receive nothing short of excellence. From managing audits to analyzing quality data and supporting product launches, your role will be integral to our success.
What You'll Do:
  • Lead COPQ Reduction: Spearheaded efforts to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) to meet and exceed quality objectives.
  • Audit Management: Manage all quality audits, ensuring compliance with requirements and maintaining certifications.
  • Quality Processes Leadership: Lead various quality processes, including inspections, sort/rework, and corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Customer-Centric Solutions: Utilize your in-depth understanding of products and processes to analyze customer problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure quality standards are met from the initial stages to product launch.
  • Nonconforming Product Management: Oversee the disposition of nonconforming products to prevent defects from reaching the customer.
  • Reporting and Leadership: Prepare accurate quality reports for management analysis and provide visionary leadership for all quality activities.
What You'll Bring:
  • Experience: 10 years in a Quality Manager role or equivalent, demonstrating strong decision-making abilities.
  • Certifications: Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification with significant experience and Lead Auditor certification for ISO9001 and IATF16949.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering or a related field.
  • Preferred Certification: Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence certification.
