The offered base compensation may vary depending on factors including location, local market data and your unique skills, and experienceAs a Benefits Specialist with us, you'll partner with our Benefits team to assist with open enrollment, monitor the Benefits mailbox to help answer questions and concerns, help track employee related data in Excel and our HCM and assist with other benefit related tasks, as needed The successful candidate has a customer service mindset and is comfortable working with internal and external stakeholders both online and in-person What You’ll Be Doing Essential FunctionsHelps employees understand benefits by answering questionsFollowing up with affected employees during leaves of absenceHandles administration of Worker's Compensation claimsHelps manage the Benefits inbox by responding to inquiries and answering questionsSorting and organizing benefit documentsHelping with invoicesInterprets related policies and proceduresEnsures regulatory agency complianceCreates communication materials including presentations and information packagesWhat We’d Like to See from You Required Qualifications1 year of experience in Human ResourcesCustomer service backgroundAbility to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgmentKnowledge of benefits, invoicing, and business administrationProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelExcellent verbal, oral, and written communication skillsAble to work quickly, accurately, and independentlyKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and proceduresProven ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical and project management skillsAbility to translate and analyze data into reportsPreferred QualificationBilingual English/SpanishInterested but Concerned You’re Not Qualified? Don’t meet every single requirement?
