TIN is seeking freelance SWAHILI Interpreters in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Min 2 years experience as a professional interpreter
• Familiar operating as an Independent Contractor 1099
• Fluent in Swahili and English
• Ability to identify culture nuances and interpret into language others can understand
• Ability to use proper grammar, and vocabulary in English and Swahili
• Ability to navigate smoothly between computer application
• Demonstrate Professional Decorum - in appearance, behavior and punctuality

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years old or older
• Must have reliable transportation to get to and from appointments
• Pass criminal background check
• Pass language assessment

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have laptop or desktop
• Must have cell phone
• Must have a reliable internet connection
