Company DescriptionRegistered Nurse (RN): Join us and be the reason someone smiles today!Salary: RN $50/hr or LPN $40/hrStatus: This is a PRN, Per Required Need (“On-Call”) positionShift: We have 8-hour shifts. Our greatest need is for PMs & Overnight shifts.Must orientate during the week on a Thursday with HR (10am-4pm)A little more about our center:The Terrace is a classic Skilled Nursing Facility that has 115 beds, with a heavy emphasis on long term resident care and a small, but growing, short-term rehab unit. This close-knit team is welcoming and always willing to jump in to help out when you need it. What makes us unique: 4-Star Quality measure – this means we provide excellent clinical care!30% of our residents are late stage memory care patients and we are one of the only nursing homes in the area with dementia programming.We have a busy Activities Department that keeps our residents engaged with low level sensory rooms, cognitive therapeutic games, regular entertainment and cooking classes.There is a bus stop located in front of the center and many apartment homes nearby if you want to move closer to work. Job DescriptionPRN (Per Required Need) / On-Call positionMINIMUM COMMITMENT: As a condition of hire, you must commit to working a minimum of two (2) weekend shifts per month. Weekend are defined as Saturday and Sunday. The shifts can be split up within the month or you can work them together, on the same weekend.In addition, you must also be intermittently available to pick up other weekday shifts. You should have flexibility to work different shifts (Days, PMs and/or NOC). Our greatest needs are on the PMs and NOC shifts, but you may infrequently be offered to work a Day Shift.You must be available to attend a weekday New Employee Orientation.In addition: This is an “as-needed”, intermittent/on-call schedule. If we have a need, you will be contacted to come in to work. Sometimes we know our scheduling needs in advance and sometimes you can be called in at the last minute.There is no guaranteed number of hours for this roleNo benefits or insurances are offered for PRN statusThis is a nonunion positionQualificationsWhat we need from you:Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in ILPrior experience in a SNF or ICF preferredElectronic medical records experience is helpful (Point Click Care or PCC is ideal) Additional InformationNote: This overview/Ad is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities or qualifications associated with the job.
