TransCore (TRN), a subsidiary of ST Engineering, is seeking a Full-Time Systems Analyst I to join our team in Ashburn, Virginia.

Job Summary: The Systems Analyst will provide technical support for our Infinity product suite in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provide software support (onsite and remote) for our Infinity installations throughout the Northeast (normal business and off hours).
• Troubleshoot and follow through-to-resolution issues concerning the application, to include: configuration, database, networking, peripherals, registry setting, etc.
• Ensuring the system is configured and deployed properly with the correct code versions and parameters to meet specific customer requirements.
• Reporting and analytical skills validate the flow of the data throughout the system to ensure proper functionality.
• Networking tasks such as adding windows devices to domain, configuring NIC settings, NTP settings.
• Modifying configuration files and FTP session file transfers to Linux devices.
• Support SQL Server databases in high availability environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity issues, performance issues, replication issues, connectivity issues, and security issues.
• Create required database indexes, index management, and maintain statistics.
• Create ad-hoc SQL queries as needed.
• Review, execute, write stored procedures as needed.
• Troubleshoot and debug .NET service oriented (SOA) Windows applications using WCF/WPF/Web API frameworks.
• Create, review and utilize technical documents.

Required Skills & Experience: 

• 3 years of professional experience with troubleshooting and customer support.
• 3 years of experience in Windows Server support and administration
• 3 years of professional experience in SQL Server Database support and administration. Latest experience should be with using SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2019, 2022.
• Proficiency with remote sessions to servers, windows desktops and Linux devices.
• Proficiency with Windows scripting/PowerShell. Editing and writing of both.
• Familiarity with MSMQ and services installation and configuration.
• Familiarity with Virtual Machine environments (Hyper-V)
• Follow detailed instructions with little supervision.
• Ability to analyze transaction data reports and reconcile data differences and report findings to stakeholders
• Highly motivated team player who can establish excellent working relationships with peers and other teams.
• Aptitude and desire to learn new scenarios quickly.
• Ability to understand business requirements and estimate for delivery commitments.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, phone, and written communication skills.

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with Unix/Linux administration and command line scripting
• Familiarity with hardware device-level support and troubleshooting
• Professional experience within the Tolling Industry
