Transcendent Security Services is Hiring an Armed Security Officer Near Long Beach, CA
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Armed Security Officer to join our team. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients their customers and assets. Your primary duty will be to protect against potential threats and respond to any security incidents that may arise.
Duties:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to emergency situations
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizing entry of individuals
- Perform routine inspections of security equipment and report any malfunctions or damages
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and visitors with inquiries or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, accidents, and daily activities
Qualifications:
- MUST HAVE YOUR OWN FIREARM AND EQUIPMENT
- Over 21 Years Old
- Current valid California Guard Card
- Current valid California Firearm Permit
- Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or private security
- Strong surveillance skills with the ability to identify potential threats or suspicious behavior
- Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations effectively
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment - Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Smart Phone w/ active plan
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible, available to work evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime
Note: This position requires the successful completion of a thorough background check and drug screening
