Clearance 

• Active Top Secret clearance is required. 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and piecing together a system of test consoles and networks that handle command and telemetry to/from flight hardware.
• Hardware and system design and architecture experience. This is for a long-term NEW project that consists of "designing a system" of test consoles and a network that will issue commands to flight hardware and receive the telemetry back from the flight hardware.
• Using COTS (commercial off the shelf) products as much as possible.
• This system will be doing functions like providing limit checks for the protection of the flight hardware (examples like: automatic overcurrent protection, automatic power downs, error checking and notifications when flight hardware tries to enter or is commanded to enter a prohibited state). 

• Someone that knows Satellites and/or ground stations, and their uplink command and control hardware boxes, and their telemetry downlink hardware boxes, and can put the pieces together.

Education 

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or a combination of training, certifications, and experience

• No certifications required.

Travel Requirements:

This position will involve no travel.
