Job Description 

The Lead Systems Engineer will work with our GovCon client.

Salary: $120k/yr.

Responsibilities:

• You will be applying your skills to provide systems engineering solutions.
• You will be implementing solutions, requirements and developing new features for our system.
• In addition, you will be part of a team that will be implementing a capability into the AEHF Ground System configuration. Experience with generating Systems Engineering architecture, requirements, and design artifacts.
• Experience defining software/hardware interfaces as well as knowledge of RF interface technology is desired.
• The lead Systems Engineer is responsible for planning / designing, implementing / executing, testing, and documenting Test and Training Simulator Element (TTSE) products to satisfy all requirements and functional capabilities.
• The selected candidate will work closely with internal and external customers to ensure that delivered software meets all technical and schedule expectations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in providing technical systems engineering leadership to an Agile development project. Experience includes generating Systems Engineering architecture, requirements, design artifacts
• Experience defining software/hardware interfaces
• Previous experience with the Agile methodology

Knowledge and Skills:

• Experience with Simulators and/or simulator SW
• Knowledge of RF interface technology
• Ada Programming Experience
• Agile Product Owner experience

Clearance 

• Active Secret clearance is required. 

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. 

Education 

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or a combination of training, certifications, and experience 

Certifications

• No certifications are required.

Travel Requirements:

This position will involve no travel.
