Tool and Die Maker – First Shift

Responsibilities include :

• Analyzing blueprints and determining materials required for building, modifying, or repairing tools and dies.
• Operating machinery and using measuring instruments to verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances.
• Assisting with die tryout and part inspection, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Maintaining 6S standards in all work stations and ensuring a safe working environment.
• Completing other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What you need to succeed :

• 5 years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker.
• Experience in maintaining and repairing production dies.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and basic computer skills.
• Mechanical inclination and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and mentor others.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with ProtoTRAK programming on knee and bed mills is a plus.
