Responsibilities include :

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical outlets, switches, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and other building components.
• Perform basic painting, carpentry, electrical, and plumbing repair work in response to service requests.
• Prepare interior walls / ceilings for painting and perform painting tasks as needed.
• Assist in making minor electrical and carpentry repairs, and assist skilled technicians in making major repairs.
• Set up tables and chairs for resident activities and install appliances as needed.
• May be required to work outside of regular hours and participate in on-call scheduling.
• Maintain quality communication with residents and Touchstone staff, maintaining a positive and professional attitude at all times.

What you need to succeed :

• Experience in construction or property maintenance : Previous experience in construction or property maintenance is essential for this role.
• Clean driving record : Must have a clean driving record and the ability to drive to properties across the city.
• General residential maintenance skills : Basic skills in electric, plumbing, drywall, and other residential maintenance tasks.
• Physical ability : Ability to walk, climb, lift, and generally be mobile throughout the day.
• Passing drug screening : Must pass a drug screening as part of the hiring process.
