Trailways of New York has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Mechanic Helper to join the team at our busy Albany, NY facility. 

Trailways of New York is the largest family-owned, intercity bus company in New York State. We carry passengers more than 8 million miles annually.

Who are you?

You are a person who:

• Has mechanical aptitude
• Is a self-starter who takes initiative
• Has basic computer skills 
• Is dependable and detail orientated
• Has good communication skills
• Is able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Has a valid NYS driver’s license 
• Is looking to grow their career

Responsibilities include:

• Performing preventative maintenance inspections per manufacturers’ schedules
• Routine daily motor coach safety inspections and documenting any defects found
• Making minor mechanical repairs
