Traditions at Camargo is Hiring an Unit Coordinator Near Cincinnati, OH

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Coordinator to assist our Director of Nursing. The Unit Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all nursing activities alongside the DON, ensuring the highest level of patient care and compliance with regulatory standards. This is a leadership role that requires strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Duties:

- Assists with the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure quality patient care

- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a positive work environment

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans

- Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance, providing feedback and coaching as needed

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards of practice

- Oversee the hiring, training, and development of nursing staff

- Manage budgets and resources effectively to optimize patient care delivery

- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in nursing practices

Requirements:

- Valid nursing license in the state of employment

- Proven experience in Nursing leadership role

- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred:

- Experience in assisted living, home health, acute care, hospice care, or nursing home settings
