Traditional Medicinals is Hiring a Marketing Coordinator Near Rohnert Park, CA

Job Summary:

This role is a key support person for the entire marketing department. The Marketing Coordinator will be a part of the Brand Management Team, and assist with execution on new packaging, new items, and important marketing tactics including coupons and sampling. This person will help maintain the strong brand equity of Traditional Medicinals through assisting with marketing programs and providing analytical support. The Marketing Coordinator will also help organize events for the marketing department and assist with administrative tasks that support the full team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the consumer sampling programs for bagged tea, including creating the kits and collateral, tracking inventory, and facilitating the shipping. Plan for and manage the inventory of samples for the year.
  • Lead the process for changing product packaging, including taking in the requests, working with graphics to implement the changes, and routing the changes cross-functionally for approval.
  • Facilitate packaging changes notification to the Associate Manager Digital Content website to ensure that all initiated by any product or packaging changes are updated and facilitated across all retail channels, including our website PDPs.
  • Assist sales teams with product or marketing material needs for their brokers, distributors, and buyers.
  • Fulfill all sample requests, including marketing tactics (i.e. PR), shopper marketing, donations, and sales programs.
  • Manage coupons / QR codes creation and tracking. Track the effectiveness of these tactics.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to determine the budget for accessories (i.e., clothing, tea mugs, etc) for the website and internal needs. Facilitate the creation of these items and manage inventory.
  • Synthesize provide monthly updates on external market trends that impact our business
  • Other projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

Experience

  • 1-3 years work experience in marketing or project management role
  • Bachelors degree, ideally in communications, marketing, business or project management
  • Experience supporting a larger team/department
  • Experience managing projects
  • Experience specific to retail and consumer packaged goods ideal

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, marketing and/or communications.
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge in ecommerce, packaging development and/or project management a plus

  • Passion for natural and organic products and working for a purpose driven company a plus

Working Location Requirements:

  • This position is based in Rohnert Park, CA. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 - 5:00 pm. This is a hybrid role offering the flexibility to occasionally work remotely. Expected in-offices days are Tuesday and Thursday. Subject to change.
  • Remote candidates will not be considered for this role.
