For our Amsterdam Office, the Netherlands, we are looking for a:
Tradeshow & Events assistant(24 hours)

As our Tradeshow & Events Assistant you coordinate participation in international & national trade shows and events. You thrive well in a hectic environment during several events at the same time. Besides the coordination of the trade shows you will also take care of all our internal and external events.

In this position you will be working closely with all levels of the company. During Tradeshows you will be working closely with the Event & Facility Manager and our Marketing department on social media, banners and advertisement. The Events Assistant reports to the Events & Facility Manager.

This position is for 24 hours per week, but flexibility in working hours is required to be able to work during trade shows & events.

Your responsibilities

  • Organize and coordinate all aspects of trade shows and events, including registration, booth design, contact with stand building company, hotel and travel schedules, booth preparation, banners, brochures, etc.
  • Manage the Events and Tradeshow planning both International & National
  • Host during Tradeshows
  • Planning internal events, such as a company outing
  • Arranging internal- and external meeting/conferences in collaboration with reception/hospitality

What we ask?

  • Proficient in English & Dutch
  • Conversational level of German is a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience with organizing international events/trade shows 
  • Flexibility and adaptability (in relation to working at the events)
  • Drivers licence (B)
