Required Skills

· Perform a variety of physical labor, including:

o Continuous standing, walking, bending, kneeling and squatting for an 8 hour shift

o Lifting, from the ground, items up to 50 pounds

o Lifting, above the head, items up to 20 pounds

o Able to climb a ladder and reach overhead

o Pushing/pulling a wheeled appliance containing items weighing more than 150 pounds

· Use of a variety of hand and power tools in a safe and competent fashion

· Perform basic rough and finish carpentry skills

· Competently complete basic plumbing and electrical repairs on existing fixtures

· Plan, organize, prioritize and manage required work in a busy environment

· Exhibit strong organizational skills with an acute attention to detail

· Organize time and communicate in a timely manner about work assigned and accomplished

· Work effectively with the property manager, owners, guests, and other employees

Job Duties include, but are not limited to, the following

· Make daily rounds of entire property addressing issues found and identifying items needing to be repaired

· Perform building maintenance, both interior and exterior, to assure a safe and pleasing environment

· Painting of common areas

· Painting of exterior items

· Clean and maintain pool, pool deck, and pool furniture

· Daily policing of trash receptacles, emptying and cleaning as required

· Water grass and plants in containers, as needed

· Identify conditions requiring repair/maintenance by an outside vendor

· Complete work orders, as assigned

· Assist management in identifying supplies needing to be ordered

· Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

· One year of condominium, hotel, or timeshare maintenance experience

· Customer service skills

· While not required, pool certification a plus
