Tractor Vision, Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced 3D Designer for Events to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in 3D modeling and rendering, with proficiency in programs such as 3D Studio Max, Rhino, Blender, Maya, and ZBrush. Familiarity with SketchUp is essential, and experience with technical design and Vectorworks is considered a bonus. Must be reliable and work quickly to meet deadlines while possessing great attention to detail. The goal is to deliver high-quality and/or fast deliverables while working in close collaboration with other departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce stunning 3D graphic renderings and visualizations of event environments, structural build ups and installation.
• Utilize 3D modeling software, including 3D Studio Max, Rhino, Blender, Maya, and SketchUp, to create detailed and accurate renderings of proposed designs.
• Translate conceptual sketches and ideas into digital models, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project specifications.
• Work closely with project managers and fabricators to ensure feasibility and practicality of designs, considering materials, structural integrity, and technical constraints.
• Iterate on designs based on feedback from clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
• Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail in all aspects of design work, from initial concept through to final production.
• To study clients' brand guide and create visual designs in accordance to the brand guide and client-approved creative direction.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS (Advanced)

• Familiarity with Sketchup and Vectorworks
• Technical design experience
• 3D printing experience
• CNC file creation

• Must have a flexible schedule

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The person in this position must be able to:

• Stand for long periods as well as walk, bend and stoop.
• Requires ability to use arms and hands.
• Ability to sit for extended periods

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Architecture, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a 3D designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in Rhino, Blender, Maya, ZBrush, and SketchUp.
• Excellent understanding of design principles, spatial awareness, and aesthetic sensibility.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and concepts to team members and clients.
• Familiarity with technical design principles and experience with Vectorworks considered a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.

SCHEDULE

The 3D Designer is part-time/as needed. The usual work schedule is typical business hours, Monday - Friday, with some evenings and weekends as needed; however, schedule may vary.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
