If you’re ready to be a part of something exciting, TrackFive is currently searching for a Software Engineering Intern. Our internship start and end dates are flexible, but generally will run for the duration of 12 weeks.

What you'll do

The Software Engineering Intern works with our programming team to solve problems and build innovative web solutions. They contribute to a wide range of projects and participates in all stages of design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance--all while gaining priceless work experience from one of the best teams around!

The life of a TrackFive Software Engineering Intern

• Support the programming team to design, develop, and implement web-based solutions to improve user experience on all of TrackFive's websites
• Assist the QA team in testing web applications using different testing methods
• Update and report issues into Jira and work with QA Analysts to troubleshoot issues
• Maintain detailed records of all test cases ad reports on all tests run against each development case
• Provide enhancement feedback to the development team
• Perform clerical functions as assigned to assist department with various projects

Skills necessary 

• Solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills; able to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets
• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly, and master diverse web technologies and techniques
• Self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial mindset that requires minimal supervision
