SummaryThis position is responsible for providing accounting services for multiple plants. Essential duties and responsibilities are listed out below.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Analyze trends within manufacturing processes.
  • Capitalization of Fixed Assets including all related documentation.
  • Analysis and correction of ERP work order variances.
  • Analysis of labor costs and overhead expenses each week, throughout the month in comparison vs. budget, forecast, prior month and prior year.
  • Daily plant productivity review and analysis.
  • Month-end close process and related journal entry preparation.
  • Assist CFO in annual budget preparation and new standard cost setting.
  • Assist in reviewing and time studying plant operations.
  • Review of inventory accuracy, usage and costing.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Ad hoc reporting.
Education/ExperienceA BA or BS Degree in Accounting or Finance or other related business field with five to ten years’ work experience in relative role. Prior experience utilizing an ERP system is required. Demonstrates logical and creative problem-solving techniques. Effectively communicates both verbal and written. Must be a committed team player. Must demonstrate the flexibility to adapt to constant change, interruptions, and repetition without losing efficiency or focus. This position requires a need to exercise independent judgment and action. Advanced experience with Business Central, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook required.
Language SkillsAbility to read, interpret, and analyze business documents such as blueprints, spreadsheets, graphs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine professional emails, reports and correspondence and the capabilities to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Requires interaction with various areas such as Accounting, Manufacturing, Shipping Department, Production Planning, Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales etc.
Mathematical SkillsDemonstrates the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Needs the ability to define problems by collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing a conclusion. Must be able to work in a fast pace environment and make decisions. Self-manage time effectively with little direction from supervisor. Demonstrate a willingness to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee is regularly required to be on the production floor surrounded by moving mechanical parts and equipment. The employee must comply with the dress code and PPE requirement such as gloves, safety glasses with side shields, and steel toed shoes. Temperatures and noise levels vary. Heavy forklift traffic present.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, sit, kneel, crouch, speak and hear. The employee frequently is required to reach with arms, hands, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee may need to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move greater than 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and color vision.
OtherMust have valid driver's license. Must be able to work flexible hours. May need to travel 25% of the time.
