SUMMARY
Coordinate and facilitate the delivery of shipments while working with various internal departments including; Accounting, Customer Service, Field Services, Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Production Control, Shipping, and Traffic to ensure that all sales orders are shipped on time and complete in accordance with their schedule ship date.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; Associates degree in Business, Logistics, or Planning Management preferred; Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Planning, Logistics, Inventory Management other related business field is desired. Two to four years’ experience in a shipping or receiving environment in a manufacturing setting required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with multi-tasking skills and be detail oriented. Demonstrates logical and creative problem-solving techniques. Effective at both written and verbal communication. Must be able to perform in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the flexibility to adapt to change and interruptions without losing efficiency or focus. Computer skills a must with experience in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft Navision preferred. Must be able to work with diverse group of individuals.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: This position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as spreadsheets, graphs, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. This position requires interaction with various areas such as Accounting, Customer Service, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Shipping, and Traffic.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Demonstrates the ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division including whole numbers, fractions, and percentages. The ability to compute rate and percentage preferred.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized and non-standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts of production machines, moving material handling equipment, and moving tractor/trailers.
