As a member of our Inside Sales Team, your main responsibility is to generate sales prospects for our agency through outbound calling & prospecting. This team is a highly competitive, energized & results focused team. As part of the team, you will be responsible for making 100-200 outbound cold calls daily. Your goal is to get people to say yes to an auto insurance quote with Tracey Sova State Farm Agency. You will read from scripts & describe our products & services to people in Tuscaloosa. Weekly & monthly sales quotas are a big part of this position.
All positions are part-time. Must be able to work min 15-20 hours / week between 8:30- 5:30 p.m. Mon Fri. These are paid intern positions. Pay starts at $13 / hour with commissions & bonuses based on performance. Earning potential $14-$20 / hr!
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Initiate outbound calls to potential clients from provided leads or databases using a designated Sales Script.
• Prepare insurance quotes and identify qualifications based on their insurance needs and preferences.
• Collect and record relevant information during calls for follow-up and reporting purposes.
• Utilize scripts and talking points to effectively convey key information.
• Provide regular reports on call activity, lead generation, and conversion rates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Be teachable and coachable and willing to learn as you are training
• Be proficient on a computer -- you will be working in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to quickly navigate between several webpages / software systems -- again quickly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills. You must sound good on the phone. We are looking for candidates that sound Friendly and Professional.
• Honest, positive, energetic & teachable attitude. Self-motivation & ability to work independently is a MUST!!
• Able to follow processes & not afraid of constructive feedback to improve performance
